You know you’ve made it big when you’ve hit the cover of Us Weekly along with Angelina, the news that Hulk Hogan’s soon-to-be-ex wife is dating a 19-year-old, and those girls from that hateful Hills show. More importantly, they have a Barack Obama slideshow featuring Obama hotly riding a tricycle, hotly picking up groceries, hotly waving hot sauce, hotly on a ride at the state fair with his daughters, and, of course, hotly posing with his wife. Barring any major developments, I think tomorrow’s post needs to be all about Michelle.

Obama Hotly Un-Replicable

You can own your very own Barack Obama for just 139 Euros! A German dollmaker is selling an Obama Doll dressed in a suit, tie, and flag pin, which you can check out here. Maybe it’s just me, but the only thing that looks true to form is the light blue tie, which Obama wore yesterday in Raleigh:

It’s so painfully obvious. People, if you’re going to make him into a doll, he needs to be an action figure! Get it? Change? Action? Well, at least give him some sunglasses. And maybe a voice box so he can say things like, “Yes, we can” or “It’s time to turn the page” or “Sweetie.”

Obama Hotly Authoritative

Hotly telling people to chill on the vice presidency thing? Check.

Hotly taking lead of the Democratic Party and hotly banning lobbyist money? Check.

Hotly setting his sights on Virginia? Check.

Hotly smooth talking the 95-year-old Charles Edwards who gave him a homemade walking stick, and then hotly threatening to hotly “whup” Congress with said walking stick if they don’t pass his health care bill? Check and check. See the video on CNN’s website here.

Side rant: CNN does a much better job with the clip above than the 10 minutes I caught of Anderson Cooper’s show last night where they had their cameras on Hillary Clinton’s house, reporting on Obama and Clinton meeting.

To be fair, they sometimes split the screen between the house and one of their commentators. And it turns out, they were at the wrong house! I knew there was a reason I can only stand AC for 10 minutes. But, I do like that Donna Brazile. No wonder he can’t be her boo.

Obama Hotly Modernly Marital

We’ve all heard the media frenzy over Barack and Michelle “fist-bumping” on Tuesday. I guess they need something to report on until Saturday.

But in the spirit of things, it’s as my younger sister, who taught me about The Hills (unfortunately) and Justin Timberlake (it’s actually good car/work music), would say, “Pound it!”

On the other hand, my friend SC points out, what about that little love tap at the 11 second mark? The Washington Post caught it.
